Dear New Seabrook Island Property Owner:
Welcome to Seabrook Island! As Executive Director of the Seabrook Island Property Owners Association (SIPOA), I am delighted that you have chosen to be part of our unique and vibrant community. Whether you are here full time or part time, enjoy walking on the beach or participating in recreational activities or social groups, Seabrook Island has much to offer. Information regarding the wide range of available activities and facilities is enclosed in your Welcome Packet materials.
Seabrook Island has a Newcomers Committee that is sponsored jointly by SIPOA and the Seabrook Island Club (SIC). The Committee sponsors periodic social events to provide an opportunity to meet other newcomers as well as members of island organizations. This is a great way to meet other residents and discover that you are readily welcomed by the community. SIPOA has also established an Orientation Committee to assist new Property Owners transitioning into our community. If you have not already been contacted and would like to meet with a committee member, please contact the SIPOA Administrative Office at 843-768-0061 or email@example.com, provide your contact information and request a meeting.
SIPOA facilities include the Lake House, Oyster Catcher Community Center, Gatehouse and Crabbing Dock. The Lake House, constructed in 2009, includes our Fitness Center, indoor and outdoor pools, library, and meeting rooms. In addition to fitness equipment for exercise with or without the assistance of a personal trainer, the Lake House hosts many popular wellness classes and events and is home to many special interest groups that bring together Owners with common interests. Please see the Lake House staff for facility tours and more information. The Oyster Catcher Community Center includes meeting space and an outdoor pool for the exclusive use of Property Owners and their accompanied guests.
The Island House, Beach Club, Equestrian Center, Racquet Club and golf courses are Seabrook Island Club facilities. Your SIC membership packet contains extensive information on Club facilities and events.
